Welcome back! After a small break, the Euroleague and the fantasy challenge returns with the most exciting part of the season, the Top 16. Eurohoops is here to make a quick review on the players and suggest you some really good choices.

The players are now fewer and you pay any mistake, no matter how small. The undervalued players aren’t countless like in the start of the game and you must decide on the players’ current shape and the next opponent. Eurohoopsnet team collected 718,2 credits in the regular season, so now every player is almost affordable. Every “manager” has the chance to rebuild his team now, so it’s wise to create a solid core and have only 2-3 “gambling” choices in your roster.

The most difficult part of the game the whole season but especially this week is to pick your two point guards. Teodosic, Rochestie and Rodriguez, three of the most expensive and most productive playmakers are injured or coming from an injury and is better to stay away from them. We strongly recommend you Sergio Llull and Carlos Arroyo. The Spanish guard is very good all this time without Sergio Rodriguez and now he will keep his rhythm. Also, there is no doubt about the leader of Galatasaray. Apart from them, Jeremy Pargo is a good choice but he’s not steady, so it’s better to avoid him. A good cheap choice is Tomas Satoransky who will have more space in the perimeter of Barcelona to shine after all these absences.

In the perimeter there are plenty of good players in the top places and some “smart moves” like Edwin Jackson or Stratos Perperoglou who could be suitable for the players who dodn’t have plenty of credits. Of course the most obvious choice is Vassilis Spanoulis who is in good shape and can make always 15+ scores. The next one who is also steady and will be a “trademark” in our team is Sony Weems who has a hard game in front of him but he can make it also against Fenerbahce.

Our third player will be a beloved one. Nemanja Bjelica is in excellent form and proved it in the Turkish derby. The fourth one could be Andrew Goudelock who is also productive but Fenerbahce faces CSKA, or Rudy Fernandez who is too cheap and can make the leap soon or even Daniel Hackett who is getting better and better and Milan hosts Niznhy. But the better pick is James Anderson because Zalgiris plays against Galatasaray, a team that made a lot of changes and will be tough to stop him. Devin Smith also, could be a nice pick.

Boban Marjanovic was in our team all the ten previous weeks and he will stay without any question. He raised his value by 51 credits and gave plenty of points. He will face Real Madrid and of course he can make it. After him we will buy Zoran Erceg because in spite of all the changes, Ataman still depends on him and the Serbian will play a lot and can make a good score against Zalgiris.

One of the safest choices in the game is Ante Tomic who is excellent and against Alba he can make a “party”. The only worry is for his minutes. Also, Dario Saric is making almost everything in Efes, is steady and can explode his numbers. Excellent picks also are Brian Randle, Sasha Kaun, Art Parakhouski, Jan Vesely and of course the underpriced Patric Young who can give you easily credits if you need them.

Enjoy fantasy!
