The Italian federation accepted the appeal of Daniel Hackett and gave him the permission to play again in the Italian championship. The guard of the champs was punished for six months because he left the Italian National Team during the preparation period, but his penalty reduced for two months.
The president of FIP, Giovanni Petrucci gave grace to Daniel Hackett who will take part again in the Legabasket with Milan in the first week of the second round on 25/1. All this time, during the first round, the 28-yar-old guard was playing only in the Euroleague games.
