Barcelona faces Crvena Zvezda and we will have the chance to watch the battle of the best giants in the Euroleague, Ante Tomic against Boban Marjanovic. It’s fun to watch but it’s recommended to avoid them in the fantasy.
Last week we were trapped by the last minute due to the injury of Sony Weems. A couple of minutes before the deadline we sold him instead of James Anderson who was our first intention and we lost many credits because the American guard of Zalgiris was awful against Panathinaikos, as we had predicted. That was an obvious move but it would be better if we would have chosen to play with nine players.
So, Eurohoopsnet team had 137,6 points and we must change something to bounce back. During the last weeks we had the duo of Rochestie and Teodosic in the point guard position but they never played excellent in the same week. They cost a lot and we decided to sell one of them. Rochestie plays against one of the best defenses in the league, Efes and it’s better to sell him. Teodosic had an average game against Efes last week but Unicaja is a perfect opponent for him to explode.
This week Zalgiris faces at home Maccabi and Anderson can make the difference again, as soon as in Lithuania is great. There is no question about Spanoulis, Rudy and Bjelica who are always steady.
Our “experiment” with Doellman against Maccabi failed and we will sell him without much thought. The third player will be Ante Tomic. He’s a steady player, who comes from a brilliant 29 ranking, but he will face Marjanovic and it’s expected that both of them will not play according to their standards. Maybe they will have foul problems and it’t better to stay away from them.
After that we have 209,4 credits available to buy a point guard and two big guys. The playmaker will be Sergio Rodriguez because he’s too cheap in comparison with his value. The last regular season’s MVP is getting better and better and it’s pity not to buy him at 54,8 credits. Sergio Llull is also an excellent choice but he’s more expensive.
In the front line, apart from Randle and Batista, there are many good options like McLean, Vorontsevich, Erceg, Parakhouski and Saric but we will pick the first two because we can’t spend more than 154,6 credits. McLean is a ranking monster who is making a great season. He had only two non-double digits games and he will play against Galatasaray that isn’t so “famous” for its defense in the paint. Moreover, it’s amazing how steady is Vorontsevich. And now you must have this kind of players.
