There is a injury problem in Galatasaray before the crucial game against Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday’s Top 16 matchup in Istanbul. Carlos Arroyo was injured during the Yellow-Reds last night training.
The star point guard was hurt in his calf and had to leave the practice. Arroyo was sent to the hospital immediately. After the x-ray exams, it was announced Arroyo’s condition will be clear on the match day.
Galatasaray Basketball Coordinator Murat Ozyer said about Arroyo’s injury: “His x-ray was taken and doctors will check him again. Most probably he will not attend our Wednesday training. After the new exams, his status for the Maccabi game will be decided. For now we can not say something definite about his participation against Maccabi or not. However there is a problem in Arroyo’s calf.”
