The German Champions beat French side Dijon 84-74 in front of 2,612 spectators for the Eurocup but Βayern’s win was marred by an injury picked up by Nihad Djedovic, who left the court midway through the final quarter, having taken a heavy knock to the elbow.
He was taken to hospital for examination. The results were that he fractured his elbow and he will be out for approximately 10 weeks after his surgery in order to repair the damage.
