Giorgos Bartzokas will be the successor of Dusan Ivkovic in Olympiacos’ bench after the official announcement of the Reds. The ambitious 47 years old Greek coach makes the leap in his career and will work to Euroleague winners after Panionios, Maroussi and Olympia Larisas in their best season during the last 15 years.

But he doesn’t fear and is ready to follow the already success path that Olympiacos leads since last summer. As he said to the official announcement of his signing: “It’s honor to represent a club like Olympiacos and feel proud of that. They are the champions of Europe and Greece. It’s a team with great history. It’s not only honor but also responsibility to guide this team. You must have diligence, thoroughness and dedication to the club and to everything that advocates. I want to thank Aggelopoulos brothers who chose me to help the team to succeed more great things”.
