A slow Thursday at Europe ended with a big headline. Anadolu Efes announced its three seasons deal with Jordan Farmar. After his short stay at Maccabi Tel Aviv, during the NBA lock out, Farmar decided to return to Europe where he will stay for three years. As it was reported by the Star-Ledger two days ago, his NBA contract was bought out for 1.5 million dollars and he will be paid by the Turks 10.5 million dollars in total.

Efes have on its roster also former NBA player Sasha Vujacic, a teammate of Farmar at the Lakers and the Nets. The Slovenian star, however, couldn’t lead the team to any title last season and now with the help of his old friend he will try to have his revenge.

Of course the move of Efes stole the spotlight. Before that, it was officially announced the already published deal between former Panathinaikos player Romain Sato and Fenerbahce/Ulker, the renewal of Kostas Tsartsaris’ contract with the Greens for the 11th season and the signing of 22 years old undrafted talent Nihad Djedovic by Alba Berlin. Also Montepaschi Siena signed 26 years old Georgian forward Viktor Sanikidze.
