The Eurohoops’ betting advice for the ninth week of the Top 16 is here giving you tips about the upcoming games. Maccabi has an advantage to beat Crvena Zvezda. And so does Efes against Unicaja and Real Madrid over Galatasaray.
Maccabi wants to stay in the first two places of its group and Crvena Zvezda abandoned early the dream of the qualification to the play offs. So, it’s a game between two teams with a very different level of motivation. However, the Serbians won only one out of their last six games in the Euroleague and the domestic league. On the other hand, Maccabi has a great winning strike with only one exception (the defeat by Alba). The Israelis can prevail easily.
Galatasaray has many problems, no depth any more in its roster and the players are focused more on their financial issues than the games. Real Madrid is in excellent shape, won every single game during the last month and it’s the big favorite to win by double digits at Istanbul. Moreover, the Spanish team can easily score more than the line of the 85,5 points, because Galatasaray probably will not be able keep the tempo at a low pace.
Olympiacos will face Milano with many problems and only one available power forward. The Greek team has an advantage to win the game but the line of its points is too high. Olympiacos scored more than 78 points on the road only twice, against Nizhny and in the extra period against Neptunas. We bet that they will not make it.
Unicaja hasn’t any serious chances to reach the Euroleague playoffs and is focused on the Liga Endesa. On the other hand, Efes must step up to stay in the Top four of the group. The Turkish team is better and we count on their quality and motivation.
