Andrey Vorontsevich tried to get a contract with NBA finalists Oklahoma City Thunder, but the NBA team decided to take an other route. Vorontsevich, however, had an open door waiting for him at Moscow and a valid contract. As it was officially announced he will remain a CSKA‘s player and the last big announcement of the team will concern Andrei Kirilenko.
According to multiple sources from Russia, Kirilenko has already decided to stay with the Moscow team. He remains cryptic, though, and in the big question answered to gazeta.ru: “I haven’t decided yet where I will play. Maybe Brooklyn Nets, maybe CSKA”.
There was one more important Euroleague tranfer on Friday, with Caja Laboral inking point guard Taylor Rochestie to a two year contract. Rochestie finished last season at French club Le Man and he will make next season his Euroleague debut.
