Maccabi Tel Aviv took a gamble by signing David Logan who emerged as a member of Prokom, but could not keep up at the top Euroleague level both in Caja Laboral and in Panathinaikos the last two seasons

Maccabi Tel Aviv flirted for many months with David Logan and finally there is an official agreement between the two sides. As it was officially announced, Logan signed a two year deal and he will have his third chance to prove himself worthy of playing at one Euroleague powerhouse.

His two best seasons came, when he was playing for then Polish champion Prokom (2008-2010). However the last two seasons, as a member of Caja Laboral and Panathinaikos he couldn’t live up to the high expectations of those teams. Maccabi seems to be taking a gamble in its backcourt after loosing Keith Langford to EA7 Milano.

In Germany, Brose Baskets Bamberg renewed the contract of point guard John Goldsberry, who missed the entire 2011-12 season due to knee and ankle injury and we will see him again in Euroleague next season. Τelenet Oostende, the champion of Belgium which will compete in the Euroleague qualifying round, signed former arch-rival Charleroi player Wes Wilkinson.
