It was rumored for days and it finally became reality. Slovenian forward Bostjan Nachbar will be a member of Brose Baskets Bamberg next season. His task will not be easy, because 32 years old Nachbar can be considered the most important signing in the history of the team, which after three straight championships in Germany wants to make its presence a bit more felt in Euroleague. So, the former player of Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets, New Jersey Nets, Unics Kazan, Dinamo Moscow and Anadolou Efes has to lead the Germans at least to the Top 16 of the competition.
In Slovenia, Olympija Ljubliana officially announced the return of its former player, 31 years old guard Teemu Rannikko from Finland and in Spain, Unicaja Malaga signed a two years deal also with a guard who have been there before, Txemi Urtasun.
Finally in Italy, Pallacanestro Cantu added to its roster American small forward Jeff Brooks, who played last season in the country’s second division with Fileni BPA Jesi.
