Vasilis Spanoulis, Kostas Sloukas and Brent Petway practiced with Olympiacos today and despite not being yet 100% healthy, the two Greek guards are expected to travel to Moscow.
Petway, who has missed many weeks of action, needs more time. However Spanoulis and Sloukas didn’t feel any pains during practice and that’s good news for the Reds. Both players will be tested again tomorrow and if everything goes according to the plan, they will be present in Moscow. Still, in Spanoulis’ case the final decision is expected to be taken just before the game against CSKA.
Both players are making progress and both want to play, but at the end of the day it’s also a coach and doctors’ decision. At this point, Sloukas is more than probably to be ready and Spanoulis has also a lot of chances to play.
