The teams that allow their rivals to have the highest ranking in the past month are, by far, Galatasaray, Milano and Nizhny, and in fantasy it is advisable to pick players from their opponents! Like Jeremy Pargo and Nenad Krstic this week.

In specific, in the last four games Galata’s opponents have an average ranking of 104, those of Milano 103,8 and those of Nizhny 102,5! On the other side, Fenerbahce’s opponents have a lower ranking (67,8 per game), as do Real’s (71,8), Barcelona’s (72,8) and CSKA’s (76,8).

Last week the Eurohoops.net team did very well with 191,8 points, the only discord being Mekel, De Colo, Rudy and Tomic. Two rounds before the finale, there are several teams with no particular motive and so there are several traps.

For example, Ante Tomic usually has outstanding performances in matches against Real as we explained before the first round’s match. However, lately he’s on a downward slide with only one good night in the last four Eurolegue games and so we decided to take the risk and let him go from the team. The rest of our moves are safer, as Gal Mekel isn’t so underrated in fantasy anymore and Taylor Rochestie returned to his really good appearances. Finally, Olympiakos is tested in Moscow and Giorgos Printezis is not a bargain anymore. CSKA’s frontline is full and his spot on the roster is at risk.

The saving of 171,5 credits is good enough to make our moves and so our first is to acquire Jeremy Pargo. The playmaker and barometer of Maccabi had just 2 single-digit games during the Top16 and against the inadequate Galatasaray, they can certainly reach a high score line. As far as the big men’s positions, we start off our picks with Nenad Krstic, who counts eight games in a row with a double-digit ranking and in the “final” for Efes against Milano he has the chance to shine once again. Besides, the Italians are not at all efficient in defensive post play and allow their rival big men to score a lot. Finally, Patrick Young is having a terrific season with Galatasaray, where he now has a starting role with an average of 25+ minutes on the court in every match because of absences. Maccabi has several players who match-up well with him and he can achieve a high score.

UPDATE: Zoran Erceg didn’t travel to Tel Aviv and we must sell him and change our moves. So, Giorgos Printezis stays, as soon as Petway and Spanoulis didn’t travel to Moscow for the game vs CSKA. Instead of Erceg we will buy not Patrick Young, but Trey Thompkins who is in great shape and can have a big score against Unicaja.

Enjoy fantasy!
