Panathinaikos is looking for two big guys to complete the roster and doesn’t want to spend a lot of money. They can overcome their budget only for something extraordinary. Like for example Luis Amundson, for who they can spend up to one million U.S. dollars. The 29 year old power forward/center has a lot of offers by several NBA teams and may look to “Greens” only if he won’t find something good there. Panathinaikos has as an alternative Renaldo Balkman. The power forward from Puerto Rico ended the season in New York Knicks and is more feasible.
All this happens because the first name in their list, Stefan Lasme is in advanced talks with Real Madrid who search for anti-Tomic. Also, Barcelona is still shaping the roster, but intends to keep the Australian center Nathan Jawai only for the Euroleague games.
