Devin Smith agreed to terms with Maccabi Tel Aviv for a contract extention which will keep him in the team until the summer of 2018, making him the non Israeli player with the more seasons under the jersey of the “team of the people”.

As the team president Daniel Federman said: “I am very happy than after many efforts and long negotiations we get to keep Devin with us for three more years. In my eyes, Devin’s personality represents Maccabi the best possible way. He is a winner, he is humble and he is a hard worker”. With his new contract Smith will stay in total for 7 years in Tel Aviv, breaking the record of past great Kevin Magee and Nikola Vujcic, the current team manager.
