The plan of Unicaja Malaga was known and published last week and now it was time for official announcements. Slovenian guard Zoran Dragic (photo) signed a two year contract with a renewal option for two more seasons and also former Barcelona’s center Kosta Perovic will continue his career at Malaga.
Those were not the only official movements at Euroleague. German champions Brose Baskets announced the addition of American forward/ center Sharrod Ford, a 30 years old player with experience both in Europe and in the NBA.
One more former NBA big man will compete in Europe next season. Darryl Watkins who finished last season at New Orleans Hornets, signed a deal with Bulgarian champions Lukoil Academic, a team that will compete at Euroleague’s qualifying round.
