The debate between Fenerbahce/ Ulker and Galatasaray about Ilkan Karaman ended with TBF deciding in favor of Fener. The Turkish Basketball Federation accepted the legal arguments of Fenerbahce and put an end to the argument between the two clubs. As Eurohoops.net had reported, Fenerbahce was ready to pay Galatasaray in order to secure the services of the player, but after all there wasn’t any need for a fee. The roster of Fener is almost completed with coach Simone Pianigiani examining the possibility of adding one more point guard, probably Theo Papaloukas.
There was also one more Euroleague transfer with Olimpija Ljubljana announcing the signing of 20 years old guard Klemen Prepelič, a prospect who is considered one of the best young players in Slovenia.
Furthermore, two teams competing in Eurocup made their moves. Russian club Lokomotiv Kuban added Jimmy Baron and Trefl Sopot from Poland signed Giorgi Gamqrelidze.
