Two more American players, a veteran of European basketball and a rookie from Loyola Marimount, will play at next season’s Euroleague. Also Panathinaikos added one more Greek big, Gaios Skordilis

The team representing Croatia at next season’s Euroleague, Cedevita Zagreb, announced the signing of 30 years old American point guard Marques Green. After two season in Italian club Air Avellino and a Euroleague debut with Fenerbahce/ Ulker back at 2008, Green will return to the biggest scene of the old continent.

Polish champions Asseco Prokom officially added forward Drew Viney, a player who had a decent summer league showing at Las Vegas under the vest of Miami Heat. Now, he has a two year deal in Poland.

Last, but not least, Panathinaikos signed Greek forward/ center Gaios Skordilis to a 1+1 contract. There isn’t an official announcement from the team yet, however the agent of the player confirmed the news and Skordilis is already training with the Greens at Karpenisi, where the training camp of the team is held.

Besides Euroleague, there were two official moves at Eurocup with Spanish club Valencia keeping for a fifth season in its roster French forward Florent Pietrus, while in Belgium Spirou Charleroi signed American forward Matt Walsh, a well known face not only at Charleroi, but also in European basketball.
