Panathinaikos is reacting to the fine which was imposed by the Euroleague and the club is expected to take the case in the Greek courts. Panathinaikos considers the fine unacceptable for two reasons.
Compared to the revenues of the team from the Euroleague, the fine is not fair according to the Greens and also since the 5th of December Dimitris Giannakopoulos doesn’t have any official connection with Panathinaikos, as the new owner and president is the former GM of the team Manos Papadopoulos.
