After leading Olympiacos to the Final Four with a buzzer beating three pointer in Game 4 of the playoffs against Barcelona, Giorgos Printezis was also announced as the Euroleague MVP for April.
In the series against Barcelona the Greek forward averaged 14,8 ppg and 4,8 rpg and he had also two good games in the last two weeks of Top16 on the road against CSKA Moscow, the opponent of the Reds in the Final Four semifinal, and Nizhny Novgorod at home.
Printezis is the second player of Olympiacos who gets the monthly MVP award, after Vasilis Spanoulis who was the October MVP.
