Friday was the day of the expected official announcement of the deal between Greek club Panathinaikos and Hilton Armstrong. However it was not the only transaction of the day in Euroleague, with Alba Berlin from Germany completing its roster with Spanish big man Albert Miralles.
However, the unexpected announcement of the day came from Hapoel Jerusalem. The Israeli team participates in Eurocup and signed American guard Jacob Pullen (photo), a former teammate of Miralles at Italian club Biella. This coincidence is not what made the news big, but the fact that Pullen was rumored to be ready to sign with Serbian champion Partizan, a team competing in Euroleague.
The big rival of Partizan in Serbia, Crvena Zvezda, announced the addition of 18 years old center Radoslav Pekovic, who will have the chance to show his skills in Eurocup and one more prospect, center Alen Omic signed a four year deal with Union Olimpija Ljubljana, the team representing Slovenia in Euroleague.
