Marko Keselj is one of the few players of Olympiacos who will not continue his career in the roster of Euroleague champions and after all, not even in Euroleague. On Monday he seemed to be really close to Anadolu Efes, but on Friday he was officially announced by Spanish club Valencia, which will participate in Eurocup.
It’s an unexpected turn of events, as the deal with the Turkish club was said to be almost done and it was presented to be a 1+1 contract with the player being paid 1,4 million euros for two season. According to sources from Serbia, the player was contacted by Valencia’s coach Velimir Perasovic who explained to Keselj the big role that he will have in the team’s plans. Maybe that was made the difference.
