The host of the tournament, CSKA Moscow, won the final game against Lokomotiv Kuban, Olympiacos prevailed over Zalgiris Kaunas and in Paris, Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Galatasaray with Ohayon returning

CSKA Moscow got the “Gomelsky cup” after winning in the final Lokomotiv Kuban 82-65. The team of coach Ettore Messina had complete control of the game after the first quarter, a balanced offense and Milos Teodosic as the top scorer with 12 points. For Lokomotiv, Nick Calathes and Aleks Maric scored 14 points each. American guard Aaron Jackson was the MVP of the tournament, Vasilis Spanoulis got the best defender trophy and Ettore Messina got also an award for his contribution in the evolution of European basketball.

Olympiacos prevailed in the third place game against Zalgiris Kaunas (86-75) with Giorgos Printezis (20 p.) and Stratos Perperoglou (16 p.) making the difference. The team of coach Juan Plaza could not keep up till the end and the two opponents will play each other again in the 25th of October for the Euroleague regular season.

Maccabi Tel Aviv won the tournament in Paris beating Turkish club Galatasaray 69-63. The story of the game was the presence of Yogev Ohayon on the court for Maccabi after his contract dispute with the team and also the return from injury for American forward Devin Smith. Nic Caner-Medley was the top scorer for Maccabi with 14 points. Paris Levallois got the win in the third place game of the tournament against Spirou Charleroi (77-63).
