It was a matter of time for Dionte Christmas to find a new team after his impressive last season in Greece as a member of AGO Rethymno and his performance in summer leagues. He was cut by the Celtics and he was immediately offered to many European powerhouses. At the end, CSKA Moscow is the one which will have him on board for the rest of the season.

According to sources close to the situation, Christmas agreed to sign for the Russian champions, he will be soon announced as the new player of the team and will probably replace former Panathinaikos and Milano player Drew Nicholas in the roster.

Olympiacos and Siena were also interesting on Christmas – the Italian team made an official offer to the player, while Olympiacos was still thinking about it -but CSKA Moscow seems to be the higher bidder for his services.
