After a noteworthy career in the NBA as a player of Cleveland, Charlotte, Miami, Toronto, Philadelphia and the Lakers, Jason Kapono agreed to terms with Panathinaikos and he is ready to continue his career in Euroleague.

The two times three point shootout champion (2007-2008) will wear Green for the rest of the season in exchange for $300.000. It’s a sum of money that Panathinaikos can easily pay, even if its budget is severely reduce this season. One other NBA player, Rasual Butler, has also been in negotiations with Panathinaikos, but coach Argiris Pedoulakis denied the interest of the team last Monday. However the need for outside shooting is more than evident for the Greek team and Kapono seems to be the man for the job.

UPDATE: After the game against Real Madrid Panathinaikos BC confirmed the signing of Kapono who is expected to arrive in Greece until the end of the week.
