As Eurohoops reported, former CKSA Moscow’s guard Dionte Christmas is a target of Valencia and the Spanish club is negotiating with him his possible signing. Valencia wants an answer as soon as possible, specially after losing to Zaragoza (76-62) but also the player has its terms.
According to sources near the situation, Christmas has also other offers on the table, the one of Valencia is the best, however he wants to sign with the team a contract not till the end of the season, but also for next. He also wants an NBA opt out option for the summer of 2013.
The situation is still unclear and Valencia wants to have the final answer of Christmas this week. The player is also negotiating with CSKA about his compensation since he had a contract with the Russian team for the 2013-14 season.
