Green Pargo for the play offs

Jeremy Pargo was cut by the Sixers on the 1st of April and his quest of getting a regular NBA spot will have to wait for next season. The player is examining every option available and that also means a short term deal in Europe.

Panathinaikos can’t change anything in its Euroleague roster at this point, but has the ability to add a player in the Greek league. After the release of Jason Japono the Greens have 5 foreigners, they can sign one more before the Greek play offs and after Delaney, the Athenian team knock the door of Pargo. Priority sports, the agency representing him, confirmed to Eurohoops that there is contact with Panathinaikos, something first reported by pamesports.gr

The American guard salary for a 30 days contract will not be more than 40.000 or 45.000 US dollars and Panathinaikos seems to like the idea of bringing him as a late extra boost, having in mind the expected battle with Olympiacos in the league’s finals.
