Barcelona needed a player, Loukas Mavrokefalidis hadn’t any current obligations after the premature end of the season of Spartak St. Petersburg and the Greek power forward will travel to Spain in order to replace injured Nate Jawai until the end of the season.
Barcelona was in negotiations also with D’ Or Fisher of BC Donetsk, however the Catalans decided to add Mavrokefalidis and probably we will see him a lot in the power forward position with Erazem Lorbek taking minutes as a center.
The deal with the Greek player concludes by the end of this season and Mavrokefalidis will be paid with 50.000 for the work of six weeks and also will receive a bonus if the team wins the title of Liga Endesa.
