Jeremy Pargo had many offers in order to return to Europe during this season – the most recent came from Panathinaikos – but he chose to wait for a call up from the NBA. He didn’t get it and it seems that it’s time for him to return to Europe.
His former team, Maccabi Tel Aviv, is really interested on him, but it seems that his destination this time will be Moscow. CSKA has offered him a two years contract that will pay him two million US dollars per season. Nothing is set in stone at this point, however this is one of the biggest contracts that are expected to be offered this season in Europe.
The possible deal is expected to be finalized after the end of the season, but the sum of money offered to the player have already put Maccabi out of the race, unless the Israelis decide to change their usual financial policy.
