Khimki announced officially that the team will not try to keep Zoran Planinic after his contract ended, due to obvious financial reasons. According to sources from Russia, however, the Croatian guard will not leave Moscow.
CSKA has decided to revamp its backcourt, Jeremy Pargo is the first summer signing and Planinic can be the second one. After a great season in Euroleague the experienced floor general can be the right fit for coach Messina’s plans who is expected to stay on the bench of the team.
It was also announced that CSKA is keeping Vladimir Micov and one more player from Khimki, Vitaly Fridzon seems also ready to make the jump to the cross town rival. On the contrary, Anton Ponkrashov, is leaving CSKA, while Aaron Jackson and Milo’s Teodosic future is in question.
