The season ended for Panathinaikos and already the team has secured some basic additions to its roster and the renewal of their stars’ contracts. Not only Diamantidis, but also Stephan Lasme and James Gist are expected to stay with the Greens.

There is a deal between the American forward and the team for the next two season and 1.5 million US dollars. Gist provide everything coach Argiris Pedoulakis was expecting from him and his great performance in the Greek finals was the icing on the cake. Stephan Lasme, as the Euroleague defensive player of the year, had more options to chose from and three offers on the table. However, he is also one step away from signing with the Greens also for two more seasons with a total compensation of 1.8 millions US dollars. He wants to stay in Athens and at this point it seems that he is made his mind.

Those announcements are about to become official in a press conference with owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos also presenting the new deal with Dimitris Diamantidis and coach Pedoulakis.
