Veroli, Bamberg, Piraeus, Moscow. This is the course of Kyle Hines’ career, two times Euroleague champion and until recently center of Olympiacos. He started from the lower level of European basketball and he developed to a undersized phenomenon in the highest Euroleague level. He was the target of many teams, but CSKA Moscow is the one that managed to lure him.
According to Eurohoops sources the 27 years old American decided to leave the Euroleague champions in order to sign with the team of coach Messina, which was defeated two times by the Reds, this year in the semifinal and last year in the final. His deal with CSKA will pay him in total 2,5 million dollars plus bonuses and will keep him in Moscow at least until the summer of 2015.
Olympiacos has made an offer also for a two years contract that would pay him the sum of 2 million dollars, but finally CSKA won this battle and gets a real fighter, “Iron Man” Kyle Hines who has missed only three games so far in his professional career.
