Everyone is tired with the Dusan Ivkovic- Fenerbahce/Ulker serial. Is there an agreement between the two sides? Will Duda work for the Turkish club? Is he this weekend in Istanbul? Eurohoops is following its leads, tried to separate the truth from the rumors, multiple sources even during the Euroleague Final Four insisted that there was an agreement in place, but as days goes by and things are getting more and more complicated, there was only one solution.
Only Ivkovic himself could straighten things up, who have spend all this time working in a new youth program for his country’s basketball in order to produce effectively more players and it seems that the Serbian national team will be the only team he will be coaching in the immediate future in the upcoming Eurobasket. We reached Duda by phone in order to solve the mystery. His answer was almost shocking.
“I will say it for the first time, because I can’t understand any more this situation and things must be clarified. I didn’t and I don’t have any contact, any communication with Fenerbahce/ Ulker all this time. Not even the slightest. I had talks with this club last summer, when I left Olympiacos and I explained to them that I didn’t wanted to work at that time in a club. This summer, there is absolutely nothing. That you have to know. The only thing I don’t know is who is behind this story”.
