The Euroleague champions managed to keep on their roster Acie Law for next season, but they will know for sure if they will have him after the 30th of July, when the NBA out clause of his new deal with Olympiacos expires

The unofficial MVP of Euroleague’s final Acie Law agreed to continue his career in Olympiacos for two more years. The American guard is negotiating with the Euroleague champions for the past five days and new we have a final deal with a full agreement in every detail. After getting 550.000 dollars net last year, for the next season he will get a 300.000 dollars raise (850.000) per season as the team wants to acknowledge his contribution.

The only thing that’s left in order to have an official announcement is the NBA out clause which the player have asked. According to Eurohoops sources, two NBA teams are interested on him and they have informed the player that they may send him an offer sheet in the next days. That’s why Law asked from Olympiacos an NBA out clause in their new deal which have a deadline until the 30th of July. The Reds agreed and that’s why the deal should be considered done. The same clause exists also for next summer.

However, until the end of the month, Law will have the right to sign with an NBA team and be automatically released by Olympiacos. His character and also his last year decision to stay in Greece leads us to the conclusion that only if he is guaranteed not just a roster spot, but also an important role in an ambitious NBA team, he will not stay in Europe.
