NBA free agent Cartier Martin who finished last season as a member of Washington Wizards is ready to sign a two years deal with Euroleague champions Olympiacos. He will be the starting small forward of the team, replacing Kostas Papanikolaou

Euroleague champions Olympiacos has found its new starting small forward and his name is Cartier Martin. The 29 years old small forward who is a free agent from Washington was selected by coach Giorgos Bartzokas as the replacement of Kostas Papanikolaou.

According to Eurohoops sources the two sides are in their final stage of negotiations with Martin ready to sign a two-year deal with the Reds. According to the usual policy of Olympiacos, the contract is expected to include a buy out clause for next summer.

Martin went undrafted back in 2007 and started his professional career in Turkey as a player of Antalya. He has been also a player of Benetton Treviso (2009). Last year he played 41 games with the Washington Wizards.
