Eurohoops revealed days ago the interest of Olympiacos for Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini which never stop being hot. That’s why the player is ready to return to the Euroleague champions with a contract until the end of the season.
On Monday the Greek club finalized the deal for a buy out with Zaragoza with the Spanish team gaining a sum close to 100.000 euros. After long and hard negotiations Olympiacos managed to satisfy the demands of the player who is having a great season until now in Liga Endesa with 12.9 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.6 bpg in 23 minutes of action.
According to Eurohoops sources, Shermadini will play with the Reds until the end of the season. The 25 years old center who last year conquered Euroleague with Olympiacos returns to the team and he will be in Greece the following hours in order to play in the upcoming Top16 game against Fenerbahce/ Ulker.
