The first transfer of CSKA Moscow this summer is Manu Markoishvili. The Georgian forward signed a 2-year contract with the Russian team and will earn in total two million euros.
Galatasaray was about to re-sign Markoishvili but eventually CSKA lured him by giving him the chance to be a member of a top Euroleague contender. This will be the 9th season that the 27-year-old forward will play in the Euroleague. During his first season with Benetton he was just 16 years old.
UPDATE: The deal was officially announced on the 11th of July.
