Erick Green started his professional career last season in Siena after being drafted in the 46th pick last year. Now it’s time for him to get back to the States. According to Eurohoops sources, Green is ready to sign a multi-year deal with the Denver Nuggets
Green was one of the stand outs of Siena in a very difficult year, during which the former Italian champions faced a tone of off court woes. Despite those issues and the fact that the club was declared bankrupted after the end of the season, Siena defended its title until the last moment in Game 7 of the Italian finals, eventually losing to EA7 Milano.
So Green will not be your usual NBA rookie next season, having already a unique experience in Italy that helped him mature really fast. And of course, now he will be focused only on basketball.
UPDATE: The deal became official on the 1st of August.
