He is currently playing in the FIBA World Cup, but Greek center Ian Vougioukas is also close to his next contract according to sources from Turkey. The 29-year old center has a very good offer by Galatasaray and he is expected to sign with the Turkish club for next season. During the summer he had offers also from other Turkish and Russians teams.
Coach Ergin Ataman was searching for a center and he is thinking about re-signing Neithan Jawai, However the club has also ongoing negotiations with the Greek center, who played during the last two seasons in Russia with Unics Kazan.
UPDATE: The final deal was announced by the team on the 5th of September.
