Fenerbahche still needs talent and the team of former Siena coach Simone Pianigiani is trying to add quality pieces in every position. So, while the main subject of discusion in Istanbul is the transfer of Siena’s star Bo McCalebb, the team is also negotiating the signing of Kostas Vasileiadis from Bilbao. The Greek forward prefers to participate in Euroleague next season and Bilbao could release him for the right price.
However, there isn’t any buy out in his contract and according to sources from Spain, Fenerbahce is offering 200.000 euros to Bilbao in order to get him. Bilbao seems to be asking the double, meaning 400.000 euros, so the bargaining between the two teams is far from over. There were, also, some rumors about Galatasaray interesting in the player, but Fenerbahce is the front runner in this case and the team that seems to have genuine interest for him.
