Bobby Brown finished his season in China with Dongguan Leopards and returned to Los Angeles. However he may travel again overseas in order to signg with Besiktas in order to help the Turkish club until the end of the TBL’s season by replacing Chris Lofton.
The American scoring machine finished his season in CBA with 31.3 ppg, 6.3 asp and 3.7 rpg in 41 games. He still has a contract with Dongguan for two more seasons after the contract he signed last summer. However, he has also opt out clauses for the NBA and the Euroleague every summer and also the right to sign for an other club in the off season of the Chinese league.
Besiktas is in the market for a guard, the club was in contact with Pooh Jeter and during the last 2-3 days there advanced talks with Brown. The player has a very lucrative contract in China, however the NBA or a return to a top Euroleague club is always on the back of his mind. According to Eurohoops sources, the option to sign with one of the biggest clubs in Turkey and play in the very competitive TBL is an interesting challenge for him.
In the meanwhile, watch him in this video scoring 41 points in Euroleague against Fenerbahce/ Ulker on January 2013.
