As it was published in Marca, the biggest sports newspaper in Spain, Marc Gasol will not be playing in the 2015 EuroBasket. An official announcement by the player himself will be made tomorrow. Gasol has already notified the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) of his decision.
Since the beginning of summer, the Grizzlies center had hinted that he wanted to get some much-needed rest after a long period of non-stop action. Oddly enough though, in the pre-selection team published by FEB his name was included in the list.
