Just hours before the first prep game for the upcoming Eurobasket, the host France announced that Fabien Causer is the first player cut from the team, due to an eye injury.
Causer has an infection on his left eye, he will have to stay out of action for the next two weeks and that’s why he is the first to leave the team. At this point three more have to be cut as 15 players are left in the pre-selection. Those are: Heurtel, Diot, Parker, Gelabale, Fournier, Kahudi, Batum, Diaw, Pietrus, Tillie, Lauvergne, Gobert, Ajinça, Jaiteh, De Colo.
