Italy and Germany started their Eurobasket preparation with two easy wins in “Trentino Cup”. The hosts beat Holland (64-52) behing 19 points by Luigi Datome, while Germany prevailed with the same score (64-52) over Austria.
No players from the NBA where used in both games, so Datome had the chance to shine. For Germany which also didn’t have any NBA players available for this game, Benzing and Schaffartzik with 9 points each were the top scorers.
