Belgium still misses Matt Lojeski but got a big moral boost by beating Greece 64-59. It was the first preparation game for the losing team which missed Vasilis Spanoulis and Giannis Bourousis, but it’s also the first defeat of Greece by Belgium since 1984.
Despite a good start (21-12) in the first quarter by Greece, at half time Belgium tied the score at 30-30 and in the end prevailed. Sam Van Rossom with 11 points and 4 assists was the best for the winners, while Giannis Antetokounmpo had 15 points for the losing side.
