Speaking to B92.net Spurs draftee and Olympiacos new center Nikola Milutinov spoke about the goals of the Serbian national team and also about his personal goals with the Greek champions.
As he said: “For sure we are among the favorites of Eurobasket, after winning the silver medal in the World Cup. Our dream is to qualify for the Olympics of Rio. I don’t think there’s a clear favorite for the gold, because there are many good teams in the tournament. Also in the knock out games everything can happen”.
For his new club he added: “This is the best year of my career. I got drafted, I signed with Olympiacos and I am a member of the national team. The financial situation in Greece wasn’t a factor in my decision. The only thing in my mind was to make the next step in my career and I can’t wait to play with Olympiacos. I am also glad that I have the chance to play with Vasilis Spanoulis, one of the best players in Europe. It’s a privilege to play with him”.
