Turkey won its first preparation at home (66-58) versus Bosnia with naturalized point guard Bobby Dixon being its leading scorer.

After the second quarter, Turkey controlled the game playing great defense against Bosnia. Coach Ergin Ataman trusted all his players and used every one at least for eight minutes. Dixon made the difference scoring 10 points and center Semih Erden followed with 9 points and 12 rebounds. Cedi Osman was also productive with 8 points, 6 boards and 3 assists. Kikanovic (12p 7 rebs) and Persic (10p) distinguished themselves among the losing side.

Turkey’s next prep game will be against Tunisia on Friday – the third clash of the two times this August – and on the same day Bosnia will face Greece in Istanbul.
