The 200th game of Florent Pietrus with the national team ended up as a French triumph. France demolished Ukraine (95-63) just hours after the announcement of the final roster for the upcoming Eurobasket.
The duo of Tony Parker (19 p., 8 r., 3 as.) and Rudy Gobert (14 p., 8 r.) were the best among equals as for the second time in three days Ukraine just couldn’t keep up. Pustozvonov scored 16 points and naturalized guard Jerom Randle added 10 points and 5 assists but it was far from enough.
The defending champions are at full strengh, their only big absence is Joakim Noah and as time goes by they can get only better until the 5th of September, when the Eurobasket starts.
