Oliver Lafayette is cut from the Croatian national team due to injury. The naturalized guard hurt his knee in the preparation game against Germany and he is out of action at least for one month.
The question for Lafayette at this point is when he will be back in action, however according to Josip Samardzic, the Croatian national team doctor, forecast he will probably be ready for the upcoming Euroleague season with EA7 Milano. Still there’s no way for him to play in the upcoming Eurobasket which starts on the 5th of September. His absence is a significant blow for Croatian which is hosting in Zagreb the group C of the first phase.
