Playing without Jonas Valanciunas who left for Toronto, Lithuanian national team managed to beat FYROM (68-62) thanks to a great last quarter in the second day of the Huawei Cup, in Kaunas.

The partial score of the last ten minutes was 26-12 and FYROM had the lead with 3,5 minutes left (60-59), but couldn’t score more than just two points for the rest of the game. Antanas Kavaliauskas (15 p., 9 r.) and Paulius Jankunas (10 p.) were the leaders of the winners, while Arturas Milaknis added 13 points and Domantas Sabonis had 10 rebounds. Vladimir Stojanovski had 14 points for FYROM which got just 3 rebounds from naturalized power forward Richard Hendrix.
